Visual Impaired

In this page I am going to explain different way a computer can help a person who has a visual impaired.

In this screen I am going to show how to get an on screen keyboard. The person as to click on starts and then has to go to accessories. Then when the person click on it this screen should come up.

When the person has this screen they have to go and click on ease of access. As this will give the person option on what they want on there side as showing below.

When the person clicks on screen keybord this will come up below.

By using this on the computer it is easier for a person who has a disability and it find it hard to type on the keyboard. As they can see what they are putting on the screen when they keyboard is in front of them beside the writing.

In this print screen I am showing you how access magnifier on the computer as the person has to go to start. Then they have to go to accessories when they get there they have to scroll down to get the link that say ease of access. When the person click on ease of access link this should come up on the link below.  

In this print screen it shows you the different link how the computer helps you. If I click on the magnifier link this come up on the print screen.

In this print screen you can see a box on the left hand side that has plus circle and mist one. It also has a view were it lets you to put the screen to what ever you what. For example the child that has disability they use this to help them to see the screen as they put the magnifier over the word and it can make the work bigger. In magnifier there are three parts that the person can pick to help them. There are full screen, lens and docked. They can also zoom in so they can see it better.

In this print screen I am going to show you how to get narrate to help a child that has a visual impaired. To start off a person has to go to start then to accessories by click on it this will give you a list. On the list there should be an ease of access on it the person need to click it and this screen will come up.  

In this screen it shows the list on the left hand as it highlight on narrator. The person has to click on and this screen will come up.  

                      

In the print screen it show a box on the right. This box lets the person to chance the voice for the person so they can understand it more. It give the person options such as echo user’s keystrokes, announce system messages, announce scroll notifications and start narrator minimized. The voice narrator can help a person with visual impairment as it is reading out what the person is typing on the computer. As this is letting them know what they are at and understand the word they are writing. By having this on the computer it lets the child do it themselves and helping them do more for themselves. This help build on their self-esteem up and lets them be include in the class.  

In this slide I a showing that there is a read and write build into this computer to help children who has difficulty with read and writing. The arrow is pointing at the link into the programme. When a person clicks on the link that is showing on the screen above it will chance to the screen that is showing below.

 This boxes has a lot of different way to help children who has a ability. As it can read out to the children who cant read or who has diffectly of read and who get their word make. It also helps if a word is spell wrong as it highlight the word. It can chance the word to the right word as this can help a child with visual impaired as this cant see what they are writing.
