Storage Devices

In a computer there are many different storage device in the computer. Here are some of them.

DVD/CD: A DVD/CD are able to be play on a computer by put them into the build in disk drive in the computer. This also the use to watch DVD on the computer when they want to. it also allow the computer to download inforamtion on to the computer.

USB: A USB pen is use you store information so that person is able to send inforamtion to each other. Also it is a fast and easy way to safe your inforamtion on to the computer as it has a lot of memory. In addtional the USB can also come in a internet form as well. As people plug it into the hard drive instead of having a phoneline connect. A flash drive all ways come in handy when people has to take homework home and it is on the computer as they just have to safe it on the USB pen.

External hard drive: A external hard drive is a store box were it is able to stored all lot of information from the computer. It has a large amouths of high level of safety and security and is able to keep backup copy of all files. In addtional the external hard drive is connect to the computer with a simple USB cable. There are many different types of external hard drive such as desktop hard drives which are large and has tobe connect tothe computer. There is also a porable hard drive which is small and people are able to carry it around with them and use them in different computer. It is important that every computer as least one of them in there hard drive as they are build intothe computer.  

Floppy disk: A floppy disks is a small removable storage devices as it record data onto a thin circular magnetic film. As it is inside a square plastic jacket.

Ram memory: The Cache ram has up to 3GB of PC 5300 ram which is build into the computer. It random access memory that are in a computer microprocessor more quickly than it access regular RAM.

   

Flash drive:  A flash drive is a small storage device which can be transport files from one computer to another computer. As it is very small however it can carry alot of work for a student as it can carry there work for a whole year.

Cache memory: The cache memory is a fast device that is build into the computer and store instructions that help computer programs run. As the cache memory also help to speed up the system.
